WEEZIE is Hiring an Operations Analyst Near Atlanta, GA
This role touches many aspects of operations and is best suited for someone who is adaptable, loves solving problems, thinks analytically and enjoys working as a team.
What you'll do:
- Handle the quoting, booking, customs clearance, and delivery management of all inbound freight shipments, optimizing for cost and transit time.
- Serve as a key point of contact with carriers and freight forwarders.
- Initiate transportation claims and disputes as they arise.
- Collaborate with the eCommerce team to ensure that shipping language on the website sets an accurate delivery expectation for the customer.
- In partnership with the Operations Manager, facilitate the receipt of deliveries and quality control checks, including escalation of discrepancies and quality issues.
- Keep the Fulfillment Team informed about incoming shipments that contain backordered products to be prioritized for fulfillment.
- Manage packaging inventory including the audit, forecast and replenishment processes.
- Run regular and ad-hoc shipment, inventory, and financial reports and analysis
- Maintain master data and own the SKU setup process to enable import, export, and customs clearance.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Science, or a related and quantitatively-oriented field.
- You have 1-3 years of experience in an analytical or process-oriented role. Experience in supply chain, logistics, or fulfillment is a plus.
- Experience in Excel is required. Knowledge of Tableau and Shopify is a plus.
- You are highly analytical, process-oriented, and a great executor but you also have the ability to see the big picture and think strategically.

- Hybrid work environment: you will work in person 3-4 days a week at our Westside Provisions office and/or our fulfillment center in Austell, GA. This position does require a candidate based in or near Atlanta, GA and does not offer relocation.
